This training is designed in response to the unique needs of the organization and can exist as a single training event, as training events with follow up and support, or as part of a larger initiative.

Project Management in Human Services

SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT: ALICIA WEIN

Project management encompasses planning, organizing, and motivating resources, procedures, and protocols to achieve specific goals related to a project which has a defined beginning and end. Understanding and mitigating risks and constraints, while achieving the project goal, is the art and skill of effective project management. In the world of human services, projects are often left incomplete or avoided due to the difficulty of applying traditional business project management concepts to a system that serves people. Demystifying project management and making it accessible in a way that allows people to be effective and successful in achieving desired goals and outcomes is my personal goal as a trainer. Project management training is designed in response to the unique needs of the organization and can exist as a single training event, as training events with follow up and support, or as part of a larger initiative.
