Master's Degree in Mental Health
Alicia Wein has a Master’s Degree in Mental Health, is pursuing membership in the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers, has a private psychotherapy practice and has worked in the field of Human Services for fifteen years. For nine years of that time, she has held several positions with the State of Vermont Division of Vocational Rehabilitation including previous roles as a VR Counselor and Program Coordinator and her current role as the Staff Development and Training Coordinator. Alicia has experience training staff in process improvement strategies and project management and assisting organizations with organizational development. While familiar with several branded organizational development models, Alicia prefers to understand each organization’s mission, vision, structure, and culture deeply and then draws on her knowledge of organizational development theory and practice to meet the organization’s unique needs and requirements. Alicia’s background in psychology and understanding of how motivation plays a role in successful organizational change, combined with her passion for human service systems and experience in supporting organizational development, make her a reliable and dynamic resource for organizations interested in improvement and development.
