Christine Johnson, M.A. Ed. CRC has over 25 years of experience in the field of vocational rehabilitation. She was formerly a program manager with the Region 5 Technical Assistance and Continuing Education (TACE) Center at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, where she provided technical assistance and continuing education for State Vocational Rehabilitation agencies and their partners. Prior to TACE, she served as the Staff Specialist for CRP’s with the Maryland Division of Rehabilitation Services. In partnership with Maryland’s Mental Health Administration, she had assisted with leadership, policy and systems integration for the implementation of the Evidence-Based Practice in Supported Employment Project.
Christine’s technical areas of concentration include performance evaluation and improvement; systems change; strategic planning; quality assurance; policy and streamlined procedures; and conducting Employment Services training based on the ACRE/APSE standards. Her areas of interest include career counseling, vocational assessment, job development, CRP staff competencies, and disability law and policy.
